MC on monday

Im on MC today..
Went do see doctor around 4 plus. But i dunno where is the clinic so i missed the afternoon closing timing. Wat a waste trip for me to walk all the way to compassvale tahre then walk back home again.

Jus nice, met desong on my way back home.
Im hungry at that time so i told him lets go eat. Then he say go over to his hse for my breakfast. Haha that was around 5pm for me to eat my breakfast. So i followed him to his house and he search his fridge for ingredients. Found lots of chaddar cheese and eggs. So he decide to cook omelet for me together with dried magie-mee.
The omelet was very nice..



Really thank Chef Song, for being so hospitable. Brought me to his home & personally cook for me before he prepares himself to meet Winnie later.

After Soggy Bottom Boys, The Gorillaz Band

Sunday we have a date with our long lost brother for abt a few yrs.
Has not been in contact since he went out of the "family".
We're glad that we get the chance to meet him up again.

If he is in the family now, maybe we will not be calling ourself as the Soggy Bottom Boys. But instead of Gorillaz the rock band.


This closed bro of ours are non other than Chee Keong.


We met up at Douby Ghaut at 7.30pm with all these ppl.



Our first itinery was filling our pot belly.
So we went Pasta Mania.


Seriously, food was sucks.
Never will i like Pasta Mania food except their ice water.
Bcos it taste the same almost everywhere so i can't comment on that.

Aniwae im not gonna even comment abt Pasta Mania bcos they dun worth my effort to type it & comparing with.
But my motives there was not food tasting but enjoying a get together with our old friends. So i ate with a mindset of filling my stomach.
CK's gf came in shortly and she's a teacher in a certain primary sch.
She sure look pretty. But most of us notice she resembles someone.. Hehe..
You know i know can liao

We all enjoy ourself without mentioning the taste & quality of the food. LoL
But at some point of time we'll suddenly lost of topics and kept silence for a few seconds. Maybe we have not seen each other for such a long time.

After that we went to a cafe to chill further..
Continue chatting & took more pics.




When we really come to a place that its getting lesser topics, we decide to go for a movie. But the problem is most of the ppl presented are not really in the mood of watching movie as most of us had either watched the shows or some other factors regarding certain shows. So all feeling lost for almost 20mins, we decide to settle ourself down at the arcade room.

First game was our favorite OutRun2.
The Gorillaz challenged one another. Its a tough competition during the race as all of us are already rusty on OutRun2. So after all the crashing & banging onto one another, the winner emerged.

So glad that i won. Haha.. Its Desong who intro us this game & mel show me how to do drifting & now, I've do them proud. Haha. But i won bcos i chose the fastest but unstable car for this race.

After us, e ladies compete against one another with OutRun2.
Haha, it was fun watching them crashing. =P
We also play a few rounds of basketball shooting too..
Our hands was tired after 1 round of shooting.
So around 10 plus, we bid farewell & parted our ways.

I hope CK will join us out again & im looking forward to it.
But the best thing is that he will join us back as a family once again.
Then Desong blog really got to change to Gorillaz. Hehe

Eating pizza again Part 2

Sorry for all the delay..

I told Bb that its a waste to have a firewood oven there yet they dunno how to use it to the fullest. Im thinking.. If you all dunno maybe can give it to me where I'll treasure it with all my heart.. Firewood oven make wonders.

Aft finish eating, went toilet with Bb..
Coming back from toilet, stand at the pizza making counter to see how is the pizza making process. To my amazement, I'm shock to see how they do their dough..
They simply place their dough on top of a round top and squash it..
Jus imagine those cake shop pancakes..
When i saw it, i really can take it liao.. Its unprofessional..
I rather ask a roti plata man to flip my dough than using this manual machine to flatten the dough.
Reason why its not good to use this machine:
1)A rolled dough will always taste better than a squashed dough.
2)It's really unprofessional & shame to those who worked in the kitchen.
3)The person who created this machine is a someone who hates eating pizza.

Jus these few point is enough for me to boil up.
It's really super low-class method to do it lah.
So wat they can squash so many dough at the same time.. A firewood oven cant even put so many at a go & there are so many kitchen staff there standing using eye power when the restaurant is almost filled. Can you imagine that machine needs one person to stand there to squashed the dough.. Even a primary sch kid also knows how to do it lah. I think the guy doing it should be getting a $1 per hour pay.
A road sweeper is even better than that. At least the sweeper knows how to sweep up different kind of objects or litter using different brooms. But that "squeezer", standing there and place the dough at the center of the platform then pull the lever to squash the dough. Who dunno how to do it. Sigh.

Anyway we went back to our sits and settle the bills.
The price is almost the same as pontini, a fine dinning restaurant which i use to work for a few yrs.
Seriously with this kind of standards, i think i can do batter than them...
Maybe in skills wise, I'm not that good but i certainly know how to taste it and improve it.. If this restaurant has been here for a long time, i think their management really didn't do much except serving better quality ingredients and new pizza ideas.

However all this bad comments is jus for the restaurant itself..
I still enjoy being with Bb's colleagues. They are a nice bunch of peps.
Aft that walked all the way down to orchard point Starbucks as they didn't have any idea where to sit down for a chill so walk till orchard point there than decide to chill at Starbucks.

Eating pizza again Part 1

On wed, Bb came warehse to look for me after some workshop with CHCSA.
And she is also meeting her ex-collegues at orchard Forum at nite for dinner.
So she stayed at warehse waiting for me to finish my task till almost 7 plus. Humm..
Then she say that her frens are meeting her at California Pizza..

It's a pleasant restaurant looking from outside.
There are 2 lvls and you'll get to see their kitchen at lvl 1.
Bb & me went in from lvl 2. SO as we walked down, im suprise to see firewood oven.. So i tot to myself, im expecting a real nice nice pizza over here..

We saw Bb frens at a corner & we join them. Im sitting at the center like a director & the rest are sitted 2 on my right & another 2 on my left. LoL
But ocne sitted, i was greeted by the spotlight that is shining directly over my head. I believed my face was shadowed seeing from far. It's kinda warm at that sit.
But in the first place, any kind of restaurant should always be very focus abt the lightings in the surrounding. If im the boss, i'll make sure all sitting position will be free from direct light shining on them. It's rude in a way to treat customer unintentionally. But that is a no no for ppl coming to have a nice dinner. A nice dinner will only take place when the ambience & food is good. If you are looking at this finer side of dinning. And i believed the restaurant trying to make us feel this way, so i need to comment according to this way.

Aniwae, Bb's ex-collegues was very funny.. Also we took quite a no. of pics.
As usual, cas talked alot at the start but aft a while, Lin took over. Haha
They are quite cool ppl to hang out with.
We came to a conclusion of ordering 3 pizzas & 1 pasta that shared among 5 of us..

I was slightly quiet that day as i only know Bb & Cas. But i still got talk to them lah. So i was looking around and their interior decor is kinda old. They use white compress chipboard as their celling, and maybe it has been there for gite sometime, some of the celling has already turn slightly yellow. Then the next thing i dislike most. The table is dirty. Pls, this is not a coffee shop. Im paying service charge.. They should at least clean up the table before serving us. Im very sensitive whether table is clean or not. If its not clean, i'll not rest my hand on it. So wat it is a pizza restaurant. Somemore it's firewood pizza, where are the oily stain come from..
I told the waiteress to clean up my table. Hehe

So here came the pizzas & pasta..
Im so excited & forgotten all the things that im picking at.
But once the pizza landed on the table, I start to wonder why there's still so much ppl wants to come here for pizza.
Im sorry i didnt took the picture of the pizza.
When i saw it, im like great.. Haha firewood pizza in this shape.
All this while i kept quiet and jus took a piece from each flavour.

Comments time:
Ate the first piece, nice & fresh ingredience (thats all).
But, topping is not evenly spread, not much bottom layer of cheese & all the cheese claster up at the center of the pizza.
Arg... wat a waste.. My previous blog already explain why it's not gd to put lots of cheese at the center of the pizza.

Side track regarding the bottom layer of cheese:
Bottom layer of cheese is placed after the tomato sauce for the base is saturated evenly. So you may think why put chees first before toppings, and not toppings before cheese. Actually there are 2 types of laying cheese.

I say usually, not compulsary k. Usually for pan pizza, which is oil base, it is topping before cheese. But for firewood pizza, is flour base. Thin crust is also flour base but Pizza Hut is oil base. So actually, all kinds of thin crust, it's always cheese before topping regardless of oil or flour base.

I cant remember what is the correct reason. But if i didnt remember wrongly, is bcos if thin crust uses topping before cheese method, after it is cut, all the toppings will drop off reason bcos tomato sauce cant stick with toppings. So with a slip off ur mouth, you will jus be biting the dough and waste the toppings & cheese dropping on the table.
If cheese is before topping, after the cheese was melted by the oven, parts of the cheese was sticked to the dough due to the holes that is on the dough which you can't find any holes on pan pizza. So with all the holes, there are possibilities that the cheese get to stick onto the dough and then the toppings onto the cheese.
So once the pizza is ready for cut, every slices will still have the cheese & toppings on top of it. and it won't slide if you tilt your pizza unless there are too much tomato sauce on the dough.

Notice every time you eat pan pizza, ur toppings sure will drop on the pan or plates bcos it is topping before cheese and maybe you think then place cheese before toppings lah. But the fact is the pan dough is thick and cheese wont melt easily. If you turn up the heater, ur toppings will burned.
So hehe.. Now you all know the trick. Prove it when you eat at any pizza outlet. Jus put some notice on the pizza and you'll get some fun out of it, IF you are a pizza lover.
I declared that i'm a pizza lover.. LoL

Im a pizza lover

This is the first time for almost half a yr that i reached home so early during the weekdays. Today is Bb family day so didnt meet her up.. Let her spend quality time with her family.

I reached home around 9pm..
Thats considered early for me.
Open my hse door, saw my Mum sitting at the living room watching TV.
The first sentence she commented was "Wa, today so early ar.. Never seen you coming back so early before. LoL

But today she seems abnormal.. Haha.. So i find it weird why she keep talking to me once i reach home. Usually she will jus continue watching her show. So after i put down all my barang barang in my room, she mention that last wk i brought back 2 pizza dough. Then i finally knows wat she wants. She is hinting me to make pizza for her lah.. She say she got the pizza sauce & ham. So im like ok loh.. Haha.. Aniwae i also wanted to make pizza to quickly finish up the dough before it turns bad. So i went to my kitchen to prepare all the necessary items.

But before i carry on from here, i want to thank Desong for making the dough for me. The most important part of a pizza is the dough. So Desong contribute the most. The dough he made was actually for thin crust, but my hse dun have so much flour to roll the dough so i use oil instead. Which using this method is usually for pan pizza. So befor ei start to make the pizza, i start to generate my internal energy which has been hidden in me for so many yrs. 4 yrs of Pizza Hut working experience is fairly good for me to accomplish my task without any sweat. Muhahaha

So after a minute of concentrating my internal energy all onto my smooth hands, i start to knit & roll the dought to fit my pan.
I start to warm up the oven then brush a layer of oil on the surface of the dough and place it inside the oven to warm it. Then i start to mixed mushrooms, bacons, hams & crabmeat together. I slice it evenly, if not one whole chunk of ingredient on the pizza wont taste nice. Actally i also anyhow take watever food i can find in the fridge. I took out the dough after a few mins. Then i start to poke many holes at the base of the dough to release any trap air. if not once all the topping is up and send into oven, if there is any trap air, it will caused the base of the dough to be bloted also it will turn out an extreamly ugly pizza. So after all the base work, put some sicilian herbs together with the tomato sauce for the pizza base to give it a more stronger taste. I put more tomato sauce as i like pizza to have more sauce. So the next thing is to put cheese evenly onto the pizza, then all the toppings and a last layer of cheese to finish up the whole process.

An advise on putting cheese onto the pizza if you didnt know and interested to know. Haha.. Regardless whether is it toppings or cheese, always spread your toppings starting from the outer circle then to the center. So likewise cheese also need to be the same but neverever put so much cheese on the center of the pizza. you will regret. Bocs once ur pizza is done, you may think that its so well done but once you cut it, all your cheese will be lying on the plates instead of the pizza.so heavier toppings & cheese on the outer dough. Jus a small portion on the center will do, jus to make it look evenly. So got the idea. Its a very simple logic. Trust me,making pizza with almost 4 yrs experience wont be that wrong. haha.

So after an hr, here are the outcome of e pizza.





Not bad aft all..
Even it has been 6 yrs plus since i last make a pizza, the outcome still looks good.
Not just that, i felt the taste are quite good too.
Maybe next time i'll do again to gain approval from my top chef Desong first before i can let anyone try it except my immediate family & dearest Bb. LoL

Finally Bb is back

She's back.. My Bb is finally back from HongKong.
Missed her badly..

Today got CG so tot of after CG, rush down to airport to fetch Bb but it was too late. By the time i reach airport, they're home.

So went to pick Lingling up instead.
Btw, it's not out of convenience, we plan to go airport even if Bb is not coming back. So those who went are Kaili, Minkuan & me.

Saw lingling, have a chat & also saw some attributes guys there.
But the most power thing is that once they saw me, they ask me to bring back a huge luggage back to warehse.. Humm, sian *Faintz.

Abt 3pm, went expo to collect stocks for delivery back to kallang.
The luggage wheels came off and i got scald by the wheels when i picked it up.

Put everything back to office liao then rush to Bedok to meet Bb for dinner & also to catch a movie.

We went to fill our stomach at one of the coffee shop my family visit frequently.
Their food was very nice. Love it. Its kinda cheap too.
3 dish & 2 rice is less than $20.
By the time we finished eating, we are already very full to buy anymore snacks.

We're watching Transformers. It's so cool. Haha
I personally like the old cinema feeling. Can eat any food i like, not like other cinema that set limitations. Plus the tickets are cheap too.

The show was so nice & interesting. Dun know how the actual transformers stories are like. However jus based on the show, i'll give it 5 stars. Haha
Hopefully there are part 2 coming up since Optimus Prime & most of the gd autobots didnt die.

The show was played for abt 2 hrs & when we came out, it's time for me to send Bb home. Hehe...

Farewell with Bb at Airport

Today, my other half is gonna leave me for HongKong for 1 whole week.
Can't bare to let her leave me.. Haha.. As if she is not coming back
Woke up super early in the morning at 5am.
I called her & wake her up.
Then i go for wash up and get myself ready meet Bb at airport.

I reached there at around 6.30am as i was taking bus down to meet them.
Meet Bb at Terminal 1 foodcourt to had my breakfast.
Keep looking at Bb.. Hope that she was not going.. Haha but this holiday trip will do her gd to let her relax herself after 1 yr of suffering at her work place. LoL

We went to departure hall to take a rest.

Jo's Wedding Day 7.7.7 -- Happily Ever After

First & foremost, wanna congrats Jo & Tze Hui with a Happy Marriage.

This is really an unforgettable event in my life.
Someone which i respect & love is getting married..
Jo is the one that lead me to life.
Thru her i get to know My Lord & Saviour.
Under her care & discipleship, leads me to where im right now.
Only those gd things that i do was inherit from her. For those bad habits are solely my own fault. LoL

What a nice day to get married.

Im as happy as anyone can be that knows Jo..
She's so gorgeous & pretty wearing the wedding grown.
Tze hui is a very nice & funny guy.. I know he will be so gd to Jo..

Ok, coming back.. I was asked by Jo to help her to be The usher in-charge for the day but i think Yilun did almost all the coordination. Felt didn't really do much at Jo's wedding. But aniwae, at least i did ensure things are running smoothly. Jus be faithful in all the little details and e task will be easier to complete.
Almost 4yrs didnt get to hold on to a walkie set. Haha.. Last used is when im still in usher ministry.. Wow that is really abt 4 yrs ago. So missed those days.. Haha..
Aniwae, Desong & me pair up to ensure every details are taken care of. We manage to recall how to use a walkie set to communicate. Haha
I think we did a great job.. Thanks to Desong for volunteering last min.

I missed the video slides.. Its so cute.. They use Lego toys to act as them during their courtship. Heard that its quite mushy during the msn part.. Haha
After the ceremony ends, we start to channel all the guests to lvl 4 & 5 for the buffet lunch.

Around 12pm we went down to B4 to set back the chairs back to its original position.
It was so heavy.. Haha, getting old le..
After finished setting back the chairs, Desong drove us down to Expo for service.
So sad that during the whole matrimony i didnt get to accompany Bb.

Aniwae, we went for svc and today, our CG sit at the last row of the block which is near the back curtain. So that once Pst Kong finishes his preaching, we can sneak out off the hall & rush to Jo's wedding dinner.
Those who are invited by Jo, most likely did the same thing as us. LoL

This is also the first time tat i really do the traditional 3 cheers. I did scream loudly but still got overpowered by some others around.

Soon, the nite passes us by quickly & everyone starts to walk towards the entrance to bid farewell & give well wishes for the newly wed.
