My classmates are funny

Has been busy with work.. But aniwae jus wanna share some funny stories with you all..
Today im having my nite class as usual, i was late for my class.
When im abt to reach my classroom, most of my classmates came out for their break. Tat was early today. Usally is abt 8.30pm. So they saw me & commented that "Eh.. Jus arrived?.." Haha.. I smiled & replied as usual.. So i went in to my class to place my bag.. I quickly took out my pen to mark attandance first.. Hehe.. I cant missed tat out. LoL.. So went toilet then came back for class.. We waited quite awhile before the lecturer starts his lessons.. So for the next 20mins he's keep talking non stop as usual.. All kinds of stories & experience. He's a really funny guy but i think to me is abit off. He got too many stories to tell till we all wanna fall asleep.. Worse, sometimes his actions really caught us off handed & its lame.. Im like humm.. dur.. wat is he trying to do? Haha..

Today there's a couple of jokes made by some classmates. During of the stories the lecturer told us is abt buying property. As we are studying Procurement now so any phurchase related stories can be shared.
So here goes the stories...
He talk abt if we buy a land without doing the investigaion or homework for the land itself, you will end up in deep trouble.
So here is the funny part.
Lect:Who can tell me what is the most important things to look out for when you buy the land?
*After many times of repeating himself as usual, finally a classmate answered.
Classmate:Sir, Its fengshui..*Faint.. Im like having a crow flying oround the whole class room.
My lecturer did heard properly so he ask him to say again..
Then the classmates answered again saying "Sir, Fengshui.. Got to put dragon or water fountain. If not the company will be very suay(Bad luck).
So these are those things we got to look out for. Haha..
But we all had a gd laugh. After tat he shared abt why its important to know wat is the type of land you're buying. It abt some state land & white land.

So we move on with the lecture.. after awhile we went to the next point which concerns insurance. He asked is wat is CIF in freight terms. So he explain & that recalls him another stories. It's like never ending stories.
So he talk abt a vessel carrying containers. Then this is the second joke coming up.
Lect:Last time there is a vessel load with containers are parking into the bay for unloading. And there's 2 parallel stones which i dunno wat it called.
*So he suddenly dunno wat the 2 stretch of pathway called, that are to tie & secure the ship from moving out. Bascially i think it is called a platform or something like tat. But jus let us have a clearer understanding can already. But he didnt, he keep saying i dunno wat its called. Then he asked the us for help..
So one of my classmates replied,
Classmate:The 2 stones izzit the 2 lion stones? one on the right and the other on the left?
*im like paused for 3 sec to think & all starts to laugh again.
If you know wat is a stone lion.. It is usually places outside houses or shopping ctr, like Takashimaya.
If you can imagine 2 lion stones one at the right & the other at the leftfacing the sea.. Haha.. How funny can it be.. Its so lame lah..
Actually the lecturer only want to tell us that the back of the vessel bang onto one of the platform & the whole ship sink and the goods are not insured anymore because CIF(a type of insurance) is only covered from the forwarder port to reciever port only. Which means as long as the vessel comes into singapore, the insurance is invalid already. So when the ship sank, the insurance didnt pay a single cent to the company. So actually we need to buy the insurance saperately which covered from the unloadin at local port till stocks arriving at your warehouse.
This i learned something.. But still the most funniest part is the 2 jokes my classmates made.
Aft tat all went back to normal lesson teaching which i starts to feel sleepy again.
So abt 9.35pm we was released from class..
Hooray....

A day saved by the Lord

Have stopped blogging for quite a while.. Im really getting very busy..
This mth of mar & april schedule are all jam packed.

Let me update you on the friday 2 wks ago..
It's the only experience i encountered ever in my life. I hope it wont happen again.
On the fri, My fren was coming to fetch me to CG after my work & really wanna thank him for being so nice. Hehe..
So when we met, there were another lady in his car, also comin for CG.
So we chat along the way..
This day has been quite sometime back so i didnt really remember much.
So to cut the long story short, we chat thru out the whole journey.

Here comes the most unforgettable day in my entire life...
When we were abt to exit out of the expressway, here was another vehicle blocking our way & refuse to give way. So my fren trying to overtake that car & little did we expect, the car suddenly cut into our lane & push us to the extreme right lane and all the way till we are abt to crash with the railing. So my fren jam the brakes & we are on the expressway so the speed of the car is still fast. So our car skid & cant keep in our lane even when my fren tries to counter it.
I still remember the scene as i was sitting right at the center of the back sit and i opened my eyes big enough to see the whole incident.
The car drift in the 'S' shape for abt 5secs & eventually totally lost control & the car turn left all the way and did it's first 360deg turn and during the 180deg turn, i saw another car which we meet face to face. They were so shock to see us spinning. Even before we can react, we went for another 360deg turn and finally the rear boot of the car hit onto the extreme left railing. The lady that is in the car got knocked on the head for quite a few times. After we came to a stop, i sense rubber burning smell. I told my fren to get out of the car and we went out. The Lady was stunned & didnt made her move so i went in to bring her out. She was really in a state of shock. And my fren was not feeling gd either. I can feel tat he is very lost, afraid & worried. I think many things has gone into his mind all of a sudden.
But for me, i dunno why but even at the start of the lost of control, i didnt made a single sound or scream. Im not in a state of shock but im sober & i jus felt peace in my heart that i will be fine so tats why i can still open my eyes & see the whole incident in a clear mind.
After a while, i realise tat there is a very high possibility that the car will flip over during the 360deg turn but yet it didnt. Im really thinking that My God is really a big God tat really shelter us in times of troubles. I knew that it's His doings that caused all of us to be safe & non of us had any injuries, not even a minor ones.

It was really a close shave. Im sitting behind and im totally fine.
This is really a miricle for all 3 of us in the car. So my fren asked his fren to come & fetch us to CG then he stayed there to wait for the tow truck to pull it off.
We didt get to see the license plate of the car that caused us to be in this state. Humm.. The person should be very errogant & i believe he should be living in guily of running away.
Aniwae really wanna thank Jesus for all the protection.

Monday madness..

Its was such a long day for me today..
Whole day im trying to clear my ecomms orders asap but still there's more left.
I also did other things.. In fact if im writting this post 5 days later, it shows tat im really busy this few days. I felt doing very little cos most of e things dun involves physical work but most of the things are admin stuffs. Which im not really gd at.. I'll buck up.
So stayed till 7++pm, late for sch but im hungrt so went up to pantry to have my dinner first. I jus grap anything i can eat. So rush down for class & as usual, im the latest again. Think they'll get use to it very soon.
Sat at a corner for abt 15mins & we are released for a short break.. Haha..
Went 7-11 to buy "Haribo Sour", a type of sweeets coated w salt.. And know wat, 7-11 increased the price of tat sweet to $1.60. Cheers selling at $1.20 loh. Not going to buy tat sweet anymore from 7-11.
Aft tat went back to class & listen to lecturer explaining on the assignment qns.
I finished up the wlohe bar of sweets within e next 1.5hrs. Literally eating it non-stop. Aniwae it keeps me awake cos its sour.. So aft class, thot of going back to warehse but in e end i didnt.

Last day of CNY

Aft the mock-CG i went to family dinner..
This place is at Geylang which is very near kallang. One of my fav. place also for having frog porridge. Their shop name is G7.. They really serve gd food.
That day they are so busy. All their workers are working really hard.
Can you imagine they run to & fro to serve food & drinks. Madness.. On top of that there is a small road for cars to pass through between their 2 shops. So they really dun care abt their lives lah.. Haha..

Sweet & Sour pork, Hongkong noodles

Im fav. frog porridge.. very affordable bcos buy 3 frogs get 2 frogs free. lol

Kangkong Cuttlefish. I love it.. E sauce is nice..

Fried Fish-head w bittergourd. Im amaze by this dish. It taste super nice. First time eating.

There are some more dishes we ate. And e best thing is the price is quite cheap.
Total 5 of us eating $130 for abt 7 dishes, drinks, napkins.
Another think im shock to see is, they even take the effort to change our plates jus like wat we get in wedding banquets. Mind you, this place is jus like no other Seafood & frog porridge stalls. Although they are bigger but never see such service before. I'll definitely patron them again.. This is wat i say value added service.
If everyone practice this cultural, then Spore will be a better place & we can cut off those useless Gems Thank You card which is so superfical. A sentence to describe tat => A form without substance. Reason bahind, most of the companies dun give them incentives if they recieved all these cards. Be realistic lah.. Wats the point.
Haha.. Im so full tat day..

Mock CG sermon

Jus thot of posting e sermon i shared up here. Haha.. Have a gd read.

Title: Growing in Faith
Luk 17:5 =>And the Apostles said to the Lord, “ Increase our Faith”.

Even for every single one of us, we may go through times where we may find difficult to overcome and we face a situation like the apostles.
And "faith" is describe in Luke 17:6.
So our faith is as a mustard seed, and when we are saved, God input in each one of our hearts a measure of faith, which has the potential to grow to fulfill the calling of God in everyone of our lives.

Today I’m going to share with you all 4 steps which will help all of us to grow in faith:

1)Hearing the Word
What does the bible says abt the word?
Rom 10:17 =>Says that faith comes by hearing & hearing by the Word of God.

What is God speaking to you today?
Is He telling you abt cartain things in your lives that you got to trust God in?
Or is He telling you to reach out to a certain friend or family members in our lives?
It's not jus abt bringing them to church but how are we as a believer with the love of God spread warmth and hope for them?
Shouldn't we be the person to meet the needs of those broken hearted & despair ppl around us?
We should be the one that help them to gain back their confidence and hope in life. We suppose to be the salt of the earth & light of the world.

As you are hearing the Word, "Faith" that is deposited in each one of our hearts, which will demand an individual response.

2)Obeying the Word
When we hear the Word, our response to the Word will determine its effect in our lives.

When God calls us, what is our response?
Are we going to say God Here I am send him or are we going to say God I don’t know how, but I am going to trust in you anyway.

For many of us we may not understand how to face the situation.
But as we began to obey the Word, God will began to increase our faith to the measure that is needed to meet the challenge, the situation & overturn it or to help the person which needs attention.

3)Having a Willing heart

Isaiah 1:19 =>Says that those who willing & obedient shall eat the good of the land.

Friends it not just abt obeying but obeying with a willing heart.
Illustrate: How many of you knows sometimes our parents can get quite naggy?
Eg. during CNY, spring cleaning, most of us will face this situation when our parents wants us to clean the floor, wash toilets or paint the house.
But the main questions abt this is how many of us actually do it willingly?
Or are we simply just obeying without a willing heart.

Look, God does not want us to be robots. He want each and every single one one of us to obey him with a willing heart, and when we obey with a willing heart as promise in Isaiah 1:19, we will eat the good of the land.

4)Acting upon the Word

Guys, it is not enough just hearing & obeying the Word with a willing heart. We can hear the Word, be very obedient & willing but if we do not act upon the word it would result in nothing, for faith without works in dead.

In conclusion, as we begin to hear the word, let us make a decision today to obey the
Word with a willing heart and act upon it. God will add to us the measure of Faith to fulfill the Word He has given to us as a promised.

Thats all guys.. Hehe.. Hope you'll recieved the Word too.

HCGL mock-cg

Today is the day for HCGL mock-CG.. Im so anxious lah.. Yesterday got my sermon from Jem & read thru once but im too tired so went to sleep. Really want to thank Jem for e great help.. He is really a great bro & leader.
This morning aft im awake, i start to prepare my sermon & im quite calm aniwae cos jus dun want to make myself so anxious. So abt 3pm i head down to Riverwalk for e CG. In our zone, Deborah, Lorraine, Sinman & me are involve in this mock. Lorraine taking Worship, Deborah-testimony, Sinman-offering and Me-Word. Over there we get to know e other uprising CGL from other zone tat is in our room. They all look prepared.. Haha.. The evaluator for us is Jeremy Choi.. He is very detiled in his evluation lah. He is really sharp.. Im impressed.. I only remember came in contact w him once when im looking for Robin's fren at the front row. SO i walk over & asked him are you Robin's fren.. Haha.. He look at me stunned. I think he must be thinking am i a new comer or wat.. Haha. But seriously i didnt know him before tat. Maybe there are too many ZSes rising up liao so didnt really get to know everyone of them.
So we had games, praise & worship then testimony. So during testimony, i start to panick for awhile but i still keep my cool. So when the testi ends, in my mind im saying, God... its my turn already.. Sob sob. So acting calm on the outside, i start the preaching. Im not super anxious lah. Only from some point to point nia. Im really amaze tat i did better than wat i expected. haha.. Think its bcos i prayed before the whole event. Really trusting God & by FAITH i preach the word. And the sermon is abt faith so got to be like tat lah.. Haha. So aft me is Sinman, she really did a great job.. Im happy for her tat she did well.. I told her not to be anxious before tat & also the first mock-CG has a much relax atmosphere. She share e word like no tomolo.. haha.. Think everyone really wack all out.. LoL.. Aft tat every single one of us got evaluated & overall is good lah.. There's sure lots of room for all of us to be improved. Everyone are relief at the end of the class.. Haha..

Be a philanthropic person

Today Andrew Naylor & David Hlomes came for service to play during Praise & Worship.. It was awesome.. Even though all their songs was kinda old which i heard during hollywood times, but they still play it very well.. David Hlomes always do stunts lah. Haha.. He is super pro playing guitar.. But seems like there are lots of members dunno all this oldies songs & they didnt really follow through. We should be running & jumping.. Haha..

Aniwae, Pst Tan share e word today.. Im quite tired as im home quite late last nite but i manage to stay awake thru e svc. Starting was kinda dry for me.. He ask abt being socially responsible in a company lvl or as a group.
The word of the day is "Philanthropy"
We are to be a philanthropic person => to do good which benefit the community.
We are to make doing good a part of doing well..
I got attentive during the mid of the preaching.. He really talk abt how we can go abt doing things that will benefit the society & to leave a lagacy tat when we died, ppl will still remember us & enjoy e benefit we have carve out for the next generations. Linking back to his january sermon. A new singaporean first got to be socially responsible.. So now we are heading towards it & im sure all of us will make an impact in this island & surrounding regions.

Emerge 07 is starting very soon.. Im so excited yet extreemly sad cos i kanna reservist the whole wk of emerge. But i dun care.. I have sign up for Rock climbing, SMS shootout & 8-ball pool. Hehe.. I wanna do well in all the games. And im really serious in rock climbing. Last yr i cant take part cos im not studying. So this yr die die also must go.. Why everytime my schedule is always against me. Sigh... Lord help!!!

Aft svc we went Le Meridian to eat. Almost half of each CG went for it. I know to some its far & to some are simply lazy. Nvm we still enjoy ourself w E13 thou.
Aft valor came for abt 20mins, all head back home and left E13 at P.S chilling. I wanted to join them but my bro ask for me.. So i went off w him.. I really want to spent time with him & mel.. Its not easy to come back together to be under a same leader. At least wat i wanted to see is tat all 3 of us are getting closer to e CGs & will be joining for e fellowship together most of e time. Lets see how will it work out..

First gathering for E13, W16 & N241

Humm... Thursday im really quite busy with my work. Went for delivery at Douby ghaut around 4plus & at 7.30pm got to meet CG at Douby ghaut again. Haha.. All 3 CG met up & went to foodcourt for dinner. I ordered teriyaki chicken don & when my food is being served, im shock to see tat they didnt put in any teriyaki sauce. Aniwae im too lazy to ask cos i find it stupid to ask as they should know tat if they are selling it. How can i jus eat plain rice and dry chicken? Its weird..
Let me refresh you. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken Don which means Teriyaki sauce with chicken & rice. So simple rite, you got to put the sauce in to complete tis dish => teriyaki chicken don. If not it will only be called chicken don. The only thing tat can come into my mind is that the seller is super forgetful or he is simply e brainiest kid in the whole of the foodcourt which he might be thinking teriyaki is a type of japanese chicken.. Faintz..
Aniwae stop this nonsense.. haha.. Aft dinner we tot of chilling out at starbucks but in e end, we went to TCC for a chill.. Most of us kinda get along with one another. Benedict, one of E13 member pass us his company card. He's from settlers cafe and im talking lame stuffs for quite awhile. Haha.. Think this is the style of our CG ba.. Always like to lame.. Haha.. Aniwae glad tat E13 have join us.. We love you all & welcome you all. Regina came aft her BBG & when she arrives, all of us are going back home le. Its so funny loh, but i think she dun mind too. Haha.. So i went home w Ber & Daniel. We also saw Hubert along the journey too.. Haha. Wanna learn some roller bladeing stunts from him.

Tons of work..

Im real busy this few days. But i still love my job alot. Its very challenging & exciting.
Mon we had a great time worshipping God in the morning before work..
We prayed for upcoming taiwan mission trips, our company & many more. Every single one of us prayed rather than the usual suspects. Haha.. I wanted to cut in & pray earlier but i jus dunno why i didnt really dare to cut in.. Haha maybe im not so familiar praying with them afterall.. I'll progress.. lol

The only things i can remember doing on monday is packing for Jap shipment. Know wat i spend my nite at warehse. Only get to sleep abt 4hrs. Aniwae its is not very rare to see me staying over at warehse. But since 2007 this is the first few times. Already cut down alot and working lesser OT le. Talking abt the jap shipment.. It was real boring jus shrinkwrapping Emerge 2006 DVD for almost 4 hrs lah. by the time i finished all the Emerge DVD i fall asleep right away on the chair im sitting.
Then i woke up shortly and went to my desk & sleep there. Too tired to even rolled out my bubble wrap bed.. haha. Next time show you all my bubble wrap bed & pillow.
Aniwae on tue im busying sending shipment & ....humm.... I also forgot wat im doing le.. Failing memory.. But i remember i test myself on how fast i can shrinkwrap a single DVD casing. It took me 15 mins to shrinkwrap & blow 30pcs of DVD. I know i can do better if i have adequate sleep.
Today I didnt do much on physical things but whole morning keep sending emails, checking freight charges, do up templates & listen to phone calls..(I wish there's no phone at warehse)... Haha.. Peaceful.. lol
TOday i tried again on shrinkwrapping for Superslim single CD case. I did abt 15pcs within 7mins. So i think i can do 50pcs in abt 30mins. Nvm.. I shall proved myself again. I want to do more things w lesser time. Other than tat, i want to let my production members know tat they can do it too if they willing to learn. I want them to be Empowered, Trained & Serving with a vision.
I believed production ministry will never be the same again. They'll either think im crazy or they'll think tat its time for them to step out of their years of comfort zone & be willing to get equipped. I really want to see them doing more fulfilling things & feel their value being increase in the ministry then doing the fixed routine 3-4yrs ago. To clarify again, i loved all you production members. You all are the faithful ones & the backbones of Attributes.

Love is in the air too.. Hehe..
