Eating pizza again Part 1

On wed, Bb came warehse to look for me after some workshop with CHCSA.
And she is also meeting her ex-collegues at orchard Forum at nite for dinner.
So she stayed at warehse waiting for me to finish my task till almost 7 plus. Humm..
Then she say that her frens are meeting her at California Pizza..

It's a pleasant restaurant looking from outside.
There are 2 lvls and you'll get to see their kitchen at lvl 1.
Bb & me went in from lvl 2. SO as we walked down, im suprise to see firewood oven.. So i tot to myself, im expecting a real nice nice pizza over here..

We saw Bb frens at a corner & we join them. Im sitting at the center like a director & the rest are sitted 2 on my right & another 2 on my left. LoL
But ocne sitted, i was greeted by the spotlight that is shining directly over my head. I believed my face was shadowed seeing from far. It's kinda warm at that sit.
But in the first place, any kind of restaurant should always be very focus abt the lightings in the surrounding. If im the boss, i'll make sure all sitting position will be free from direct light shining on them. It's rude in a way to treat customer unintentionally. But that is a no no for ppl coming to have a nice dinner. A nice dinner will only take place when the ambience & food is good. If you are looking at this finer side of dinning. And i believed the restaurant trying to make us feel this way, so i need to comment according to this way.

Aniwae, Bb's ex-collegues was very funny.. Also we took quite a no. of pics.
As usual, cas talked alot at the start but aft a while, Lin took over. Haha
They are quite cool ppl to hang out with.
We came to a conclusion of ordering 3 pizzas & 1 pasta that shared among 5 of us..

I was slightly quiet that day as i only know Bb & Cas. But i still got talk to them lah. So i was looking around and their interior decor is kinda old. They use white compress chipboard as their celling, and maybe it has been there for gite sometime, some of the celling has already turn slightly yellow. Then the next thing i dislike most. The table is dirty. Pls, this is not a coffee shop. Im paying service charge.. They should at least clean up the table before serving us. Im very sensitive whether table is clean or not. If its not clean, i'll not rest my hand on it. So wat it is a pizza restaurant. Somemore it's firewood pizza, where are the oily stain come from..
I told the waiteress to clean up my table. Hehe

So here came the pizzas & pasta..
Im so excited & forgotten all the things that im picking at.
But once the pizza landed on the table, I start to wonder why there's still so much ppl wants to come here for pizza.
Im sorry i didnt took the picture of the pizza.
When i saw it, im like great.. Haha firewood pizza in this shape.
All this while i kept quiet and jus took a piece from each flavour.

Comments time:
Ate the first piece, nice & fresh ingredience (thats all).
But, topping is not evenly spread, not much bottom layer of cheese & all the cheese claster up at the center of the pizza.
Arg... wat a waste.. My previous blog already explain why it's not gd to put lots of cheese at the center of the pizza.

Side track regarding the bottom layer of cheese:
Bottom layer of cheese is placed after the tomato sauce for the base is saturated evenly. So you may think why put chees first before toppings, and not toppings before cheese. Actually there are 2 types of laying cheese.

I say usually, not compulsary k. Usually for pan pizza, which is oil base, it is topping before cheese. But for firewood pizza, is flour base. Thin crust is also flour base but Pizza Hut is oil base. So actually, all kinds of thin crust, it's always cheese before topping regardless of oil or flour base.

I cant remember what is the correct reason. But if i didnt remember wrongly, is bcos if thin crust uses topping before cheese method, after it is cut, all the toppings will drop off reason bcos tomato sauce cant stick with toppings. So with a slip off ur mouth, you will jus be biting the dough and waste the toppings & cheese dropping on the table.
If cheese is before topping, after the cheese was melted by the oven, parts of the cheese was sticked to the dough due to the holes that is on the dough which you can't find any holes on pan pizza. So with all the holes, there are possibilities that the cheese get to stick onto the dough and then the toppings onto the cheese.
So once the pizza is ready for cut, every slices will still have the cheese & toppings on top of it. and it won't slide if you tilt your pizza unless there are too much tomato sauce on the dough.

Notice every time you eat pan pizza, ur toppings sure will drop on the pan or plates bcos it is topping before cheese and maybe you think then place cheese before toppings lah. But the fact is the pan dough is thick and cheese wont melt easily. If you turn up the heater, ur toppings will burned.
So hehe.. Now you all know the trick. Prove it when you eat at any pizza outlet. Jus put some notice on the pizza and you'll get some fun out of it, IF you are a pizza lover.
I declared that i'm a pizza lover.. LoL

Ops.. It's getting longer & longer for this entry..
